Capture This is a slice-of-life anthology containing poetry, prose, and creative nonfiction pieces. Below is the synopsis of the anthology.
A slice-of-life anthology.
Have you ever wondered about the stories people—and things—hold? Whether it’s the inanimate object sitting in the corner of your house or the stranger you pass by when running errands, everyone—and everything—has a story, even if it may not be deemed as “story-worthy.” Well, with Capture This, you are invited to sit down, relax, read, and explore the stories people and inanimate objects tell through poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction.
Below is also the eBook cover.

For Capture This – A Slice-of-Life Anthology, we were posting interviews with the contributors featured in the anthology. To view the interviews, you can view them here: https://www.lintonpress.ca/category/capture-this-interviews/

For those who may or may not know, the anthology opened last year (in 2025) from June 18th to September 1st, and I am extremely happy that the time is now here for you to view all the amazing pieces in this anthology.
In the anthology, I have written an introduction, and the first paragraph is as follows:
Amongst other things, I am a poet, and in my poetry, I tend to focus more on the “everyday” aspects or a “snippet” of the “characters’” lives. I focus on the emotion, and many times–as some may say–I linger in it. Recently (in the past couple of years or so), I started writing more short stories and subsequently began dabbling in writing novels. For my short stories, I have compiled them into a collection, and the overarching theme is “slice-of-life,” though it takes shape in different forms and lengths. Another one of my short story collections, though, is vastly different from the previous one—and still in its infancy—loosely shares the same slice-of-life theme.
If you would like to read the rest of the introduction, along with the rest of the poetry, short stories, and creative nonfiction, you can officially purchase a copy for yourself now.
We at Linton Press hope you enjoy reading Capture This – A Slice-of-Life Anthology.
